Launching Saturday May 9 at the annual Festival of the Stone, Stone Beer 2015 will be available nationally from next week on tap and in bottles.
Stone & Wood says this year’s vintage is more like a traditional European Ale, serving up a platter of dark fruits and toasted nuts, that is earthy, rich and balanced.
“The sumptuous complexity is driven by the use of 11 different malt types including Vienna Malt, Chocolate Wheat Malt and Caramelised Malts. Along with Hallertau Hersbrucker hops, it has a sweet caramel flavour that finishes with a dry roasted bitterness,” the brewer says.
