The Good Beer Week 2017 Gala Showcase tickets are now on sale! The annual event is coming home to its founding site at the Atrium, Federation Square taking place over two nights on 16-17 March 2017.
The Gala Showcase will feature more beers than ever before, with breweries from Victoria and beyond showing off their wares. 35 local and interstate breweries are taking part in the fun including Two Birds Brewing, Stomping Ground Brewing, Quiet Deeds, Pirate Life and Moon Dog Brewery.
As the official launch of the Good Beer Week 2017 program, it will also serve as a sneak peek to the ten-day beer festival in from 12-21 May 2017. The program will also go live online from Friday 16 March.
Over three sessions, the Gala Showcase will feature a selection of never-before-tasted brews, free masterclasses, meet the brewer sessions, and offer attendees the chance to vote for the Bintani People’s Choice Awards for their favourite beer and brewery of the Showcase, which will be announced at the final Friday evening session.
Tickets cost $50pp plus booking fee if you’re purchasing online, they will also be available on the door however numbers will be limited. The cost of your ticket includes 20 x 60ml beer tasting tokens from a choice of more than 200 beers, $10 food voucher to spend with participating food vendors and a Good Beer Week souvenir tasting glass RRP $15.
Good Beer Week, the biggest beer festival in the Southern Hemisphere, is an independent and not-for- profit festival that celebrates and promotes the renaissance that craft beer is enjoying globally. Since the festival’s inception in 2011, its central aim is to promote good beer and the community and culture that surround it.
