Founder of Braeside Brewing Rame Abdallah, which opened last year has now his beers in cans, designed by Braeside Brewing’s head brewer and his wife. The Mordialloc brewpub has been open for takeaways but this weekend it will be opening for the weekend, the first time since lockdown restrictions were imposed.
Queensland’s Slipstream Brewing Co. is celebrating its third birthday this weekend, releasing its Anniversary Ale, which will go on tap for its bar reopening on 6th June.
New England Brewing Company is reopening this week for takeaway sales Thursday to Sunday 10am to 4pm, and have a a new shipment of one-litre squealer bottles and some new tap-only beers.
Hemingway’s Brewery on Cairns Wharf is also opening June 18th and will be open Thursdays to Sundays 12pm-10pm only at this stage. Port Douglas to remain closed until further notice.

The Good Beer Co’s ‘A Good Beer Always Helps’ Pozible campaign has seen 780 Australians as well as businesses including Bintani raise $50,000 to provide more than 2,600 essential workers with craft beer.
