New Beer Releases: July
July 30th
Multiple Releases| Brick Lane
Brick Lane has released a few new releases.
Avalanche Blue Hazy IPA (6.7% abv) is brewed with Motueka, Wai-iti, Riwaka, US Strat and has melon and tropical flavours.
Sidewinder Super Ultra Low Alcohol Hazy Pale (1.1% abv) is the first in a new range of low alcohol beer options. Read more info here.
Trilogy of Fear is a set of three barrel-aged imperial stouts. It includes Baba Yaga Russian Imperial Stout (12% abv), The Abyss Amburana Imperial Stout (110.4% abv) and Leviathan Cacao Vanilla Imperial Stout (12% abv).

Runt | Feral
Feral Brewing Co. has released its latest beer.
Runt (3.5% abv) is a pale ale brewed with Australian and American hops to showcase stone fruit and oak notes.
This beer is available in WA across local stockists and on tap at selected venues for the rest of Australia.
Mixed Berry Sweetart Sour Ale | Bright Brewery
Bright Brewery has released the newest beer in its Sweetart Sour Ale series.
Mixed Berry Sweetart (4.3% abv) is brewed with blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and strawberries.

Hop Nation has released a new beer.
Synchronicity (10% abv) is a double IPA brewed with Vic Secret, Idaho 7 and Falconer’s Flight hops to bring flavours of lemon and pine.

Electric Wonderland (7% abv) is a West Coast style IPA hopped with Cyro Idaho 7 along with Strata and Sabro to present a citrus and pineapple flavour.

Wayward Son Hazy IPA | Wayward Brewing Co.
Wayward Brewing Co. has announced the return of its first beer.
Wayward Son Hazy IPA (7% abv) is a West Coast style IPA brewed with concentrated Lupulin to optimise the hop profile of Citra and Amarillo.

Flemm | Bentspoke Brewing Co.
BentSpoke Brewing Co. has announced the first beer in its new series called Budding Cells, a series dedicated to barrel-ageing and mixed-culture fermentation.
Flemm (5% abv) is a Flanders red ale style brew that is a barrel aged sour beer. It has been aged in oak for over 24 months.

Helios has announced the return of its Kronos brew.
Kronos 2021 (9.5% abv) is an imperial American porter dry hopped with Loral, Chinook and Centennial.

Akasha Brewing has released a new brew.
Lupulin Fog (8.5% abv) is a New England IIPA that is low in bitterness and has orange and tropical flavours.

Polar Opposite Tropical Sour & 3 Quarter Time Session IPA | Newstead Brewing Co.
Newstead Brewing Co. has announced two new releases packed in cans and kegs.
Polar Opposite Tropical Sour (3.8% abv) is brewed with tropical hops and utilises lactic acid from non-dairy sources.
3 Quarter Time Session IPA (3.4% abv) is a mid-strength ale and has flavours of passionfruit, lychee and stonefruit.

Multiple Releases | Black Hops
Black Hops has announced the return of a few limited release beers.
Neverland Grapefruit Hazy IIPA (8.2% abv) is brewed with Citra, Amarillo, Cashmere and Idaho-7 hops to present a citrus and tropical fruit flavour.
This brew is available now in Black Bops taprooms and via the online store.
Trail Mix (4.5% abv) is a session stout brewed to help support Black Hops’ team trekking the Kokoda Challenge hike through the Gold Coast Hinterland.
Hop to the Hilltop IPA (6.5% abv) was brewed in collaboration with Zero Fox Craft Bar in Brisbane, using fresh whole cone hops from Hilltop Hops Farm.
Liquid Schwartz (5.5% abv) is a black coffee lager brewed in collaboration with Crafty Cargo and Minimalist Coffee Roasters in Hervey Bay.
Old Gregg Nitro Stout (11% abv) is an Irish cream imperial stout that was brewed for GABS 2021. This is available in Black Hops taprooms and via the online store.
Strawberry Dreamshake & Mimosa Gose | Sauce Brewing Co.
Sauce Brewing Co. has released two new beers.
Strawberry Dreamshake (7% abv) is a milkshake IPA brewed with strawberries, lactose and vanilla.
In collaboration with Nick & Nora’s cocktail bars, Mimosa Gose (3.5% abv) is a tangy gose fermented with orange juice and topped with French champagne.
Both of these brews are available via lock stockists or the online store.

Blood Orange Sour | Bridge Road Brewers
Bridge Road has released the latest beer in its bi-monthly series of sours.
Blood Orange Sour (4.3% abv) is brewed in the style of a traditional German Gose with a light-bodied flavour.

Inquest 2021 | Colonial Brewing Co.
Colonial Brewing Co. has announced the return of its Inquest beer.
Inquest 2021 (10% abv) is an imperial stout brewed with Goldings and Mosaic to create a rich base with chocolate and coffee-like flavours.

Baltic Porters | Hawkers
Hawkers has released two new vintage releases.
Brandy Barrel Aged Baltic Porter (11.7% abv) has a strong fruit cake flavour while the Rum Barrel Aged Baltic Porter (10.8% abv) brings a rum spice flavour to the forefront.
Both of these brews are available via Hawkers’ online store and in person retail.
Sunly Seltzer – Peach & Finger Lime | Stone & Wood
Stone & Wood’s Sunly Seltzer has released a new flavour.
Peach & Finger Lime (4% abv) has subtle layers of peach paired with the light zing of Australian native Finger lime, according to the brewer.
This is available online, in bottleshops and via Stone & Wood’s Byron and Brisbane tasting rooms.
Strawberry Dreamshake and Mimosa Gose | Sauce Brewing Co.
Sauce Brewing Co. has announced a sweet and sour July with two new beers, starting with Strawberry Dreamshake (7.0% abv).
This Milkshake IPA is brewed with strawberry puree, giving the beer a creamy, semi-sweet flavour inspired by strawberries and cream lollies.
Sauce’s second release brings the sour – Mimosa Gose (3.5%), an orange and champagne sour brewed in collaboration with Nick & Nora’s cocktail bars.
Both new releases will be available from Friday, July 16th at the brewery for takeaways or home delivery.

Mexe Molé | Beerfarm
Beerfarm has announced a new stout brew.
Mexe Molé is a chocolate stout brewed with 25kg of cocoa nibs and an addition of smoked Guajillo and Ancho chilies.
This will be available for tasting on Friday, July 23rd at Beerfarm’s Blazing Brews event.
Persistence II | Wolf of the Willows
Wolf of the Willows has announced the re-release of a collaborative brew with The Gospel Whiskey.
Persistence II (12.2% abv) is an imperial stout brewed with malted rye grain and specially selected dark and roasted barley, and then aged for six months barrels from The Gospel Distillery.

NEeD Vol. 4 (7% abv) is brewed with Citra, Simcoe, Centennial, Cascade, Columbus and Warrior to create a tangerine and bitter taste.

Ogden Nash’s Pash Rash | Moon Dog
Moon Dog has announced the return of a brew.
Ogden Nash’s Pash Rash (8.2% abv) is a raspberry candy imperial stout with flavours of chocolate and coffee.
This brew is available in Victorian bottle shops now with other states to follow soon and is also available to order online.
“MuckaMuck” Coconut & Vanilla Imperial Stout | Bodriggy Brewing Co.
Bodriggy Brewing Co.‘s Imperial Stout has returned, with flavours of chocolate, nuts, caramel, coconut and vanilla beans.

Barrel Aged Imperial Stout series | Hawkers Beer
Hawkers have announced the release of four new Barrel Aged Imperial Stouts. These include:
- Rum Barrell Aged Imperial Stout 2021 (12.4% abv), aged for over eight months in ex-rum barrels;
- Bourban Barrel Aged Imperial Stout 2021 (12.8% abv), aged for over eight months in ex-bourbon barrels;
- Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout 2021 Maple Edition (13.1% abv), the Bourban Barrel Aged Imperial Stout infused with maple syrup; and
- Bourban Barrel Aged Imperial Stout 2021 Coffee Edition (12.9% abv), the Bourban Barrel Aged Imperial Stout infused with coffee.
All four Imperial Stouts are available now from the Hawkers website.
