Moo Brew is expanding its BREW by Moo Brew range with the launch of new beer overflowing with Tasmanian character, quite-normal taste and parochial pride.

Canned in a rather familiar shade of red, the BREW Tassie Ale is crisp, not too dry, and with just enough hop-fruitiness for an easy-drinking ale.

To support the release of the BREW Tassie Ale, and in celebration of all things local, Moo Brew are producing a limited range of personalised cartons for local clubs, community groups, sporting teams and other Tasmanian organisations. Customers can nominate their teammates, friends and peers to receive a supply of personalised beers, whether it’s Nan’s knitting posse, the Sorell pétanque crew or a rival pony club.

Three lucky recipients will receive 30 cartons, or 720 cans, of personalised BREW Ales to support fundraising efforts for their winning groups.

To score the branded beer cans, Moo Brew is asking locals to share just what makes their clubreallyTasmanian. Perhaps it’s a team of ocean swimmers who embrace the Tassie chill. Or a troupe of East Coast surf grommets. They’ve just got to be Tasmanian, through and through. Competition closes Friday 25 March.

Lauren Sheppard, General Manager, Moo Brew, says: ‘The introduction of Tassie Ale into our BREW by Moo Brew lineup gives us even more reason to celebrate this range for what it is. Simple, local and unpretentious. Beers to break down the myth that craft beer has to always be challenging, or prohibitive in price. It’s been exciting to watch the trajectory of our BREW Tassie Lager, we can only hope the Ale follows suit.’

Beyond Moo Brew’s core beers and limited releases, the BREW Tassie Ale joins the BREW Tassie lager as the second addition to the BREW by Moo Brew line-up. The BREW bill champions reliability and affordability without compromising Moo’s dedication to quality craftsmanship. With an expanding range of top notch beers for the everyday drinker, the BREW ethos is to keep it simple:Don’t overthink it.

Moo Brew was named Tasmanian State Champion at the 2021 Indie Beer Awards.
