Some great news for craft breweries and beer lovers is that one of the country’s leading craft beer festival experiences is back in full swing for 2022. Tickets have just been released for the Australian leg of the Great Australasian Beer SpecTAPular (GABS). It’s going to be a May Craft Fest like never before as the tour hits three cities in four weeks.

With over 70 brewery stands of brewing royalty to visit, including the return of New Zealand favourites Garage Project and Deep Creek, plus over 600 beer taps under one roof, thirsty craft faithfuls will not be disappointed.

The centerpiece of the event are the one thousand two hundred fresh kegs of exciting, never seen before brews just waiting to be tapped! These brand new beers are made especially for GABS by 120 of Australia and New Zealands leading brewers and are served through the massive GABS container bars. The best way to experience these exclusive and creative releases is one tasting paddle at a time.

Beer buddy group tickets start from only $33-$35 plus booking fee and include a return of the famous GABS souvenir glass and festival magazine. For the first time ever, GABS is offering a limited number of Royalty VIP tickets to each session which includes access to exclusive seating, meal delivery service and much more.

Sydneysiders are in for a treat as GABS Sydney makes the exciting move to the ICC in Darling Harbour with almost 14,000 sqm in one of the country’s state of the art venues! Easy access along with the option of using NSW Dine & Discover vouchers towards entry tickets and NSW accommodation vouchers at one of the many hotels near the venue, make this a weekend not to be missed.

While beer is certainly the star of the show, GABS offers a feast for the senses from start to finish from the ringing of the bell to commence each session to the final crescendo by the incredibly entertaining roving bands. The GABS Academy will host educational panel discussions and food pairings whilst the GABS Fight Club will see brewers put on the gloves and go toe to toe.

Punters can enjoy delicious street food, roving entertainment and the ever popular silent disco.
