Canberra’s BentSpoke Brewing Co. named National Folk Festival Official Brew Partner for 2022 and beyond

BentSpoke Brewing Co. will be the official beer served at this years National Folk Festival event held on Easter long weekend in Canberra at Exhibition Park for 4 days of music, art, live performances and local craft beer.

To celebrate the first year of this BentSpoke and NFF relationship, Bentspoke are brewing 2 new specialty beers exclusively for the festival, including BentFolk Stout and a Centenary Cider.

The Centenary Cider is being produced in honour of Bert Hauptmann, founder of Beltana Grange Orchard in Pialligo. The cider includes Bert’s last batch of apples. The release of the Centenary Cider is made even sweeter, as Bert’s grandchildren are none other than the Hauptmann Trio, the National Folk Festival’s in-house band.

Richard Watkins, head brewer & co-founder of BentSpoke Brewing Co. has said, “We’re excited to be the official brew partner of the National Folk Festival. We love to be able to provide fresh, locally brewed craft beer to our local community. Being able to be apart of Bert Hauptmann’s centenary and celebrate with our local community is great.”
