Bradford Tetlow

This week’s conversation is with brewer Bradford Tetlow.

Bradford has had an interesting brewing career after – like many people – discovering great beer while traveling overseas.

He has worked as a brewery technician at Federation Uni, had a diverse career at Lion as a Lab technician and sensory trainer, QA Leader and brewer at Little Creatures. After a sabbatical travelling and sampling his way around Europe, he has spent a little over two years working at Camden Town in the UK and now as operational quality manager at Carlsberg.

While we talk about his career and travels, one of the most interesting aspects is that we discuss the nature of beer sensory, something that is Bradford’s career focus but that became particularly relevant to Bradford when he caught COVID and lost his sense of smell and taste, which he is only just getting back after almost a year.
