HPA Announces Inaugural BarthHass Hops Academy Down Under

Content published as an Announcement is produced by the business(es) named in the announcement and remains unedited by Brews News.

As regional representatives of the global BarthHaas group, HPA are proud to bring a full-day workshop to Australia based on the internationally recognised Hop Flavourist Course.

The BrewCon23 Edition will be a condensed program that combines the best elements from each level, distilling the theory down into the most practical applications for sensory, quality and brewing professionals of all experience levels.

Phil Chou, Director of Brewing Solutions at John I. Haas, will cover the complexities of hops and their various applications, as well as economics, brewing science, and sensory evaluation.

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how to identify and describe hop aromas, where they come from, and how to use them effectively so you return to the brewery with the ability to train your team in sensory evaluation, design beers based on desired flavour outcomes, improve process efficiencies, reduce waste, and even inform how your marketing and front of house teams talk about beer.
