December 24th
Trans-Tasman Hazy IPA | White Bay Beer Co.
White Bay Beer Co. has reinvisioned one of its past favourite IPAs for its new Trans-Tasman (6.2% abv).
The hazy IPA is double dry hopped with Australian Galaxy and Kiwi Nelson Sauvin hops, and is available now both online and from the taproom.

Random Ripples | White Bay Beer Co.
White Bay Beer Co. has released a new hazy pale ale called Random Ripples (5.8% abv) which was brewed with Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin and Riwaka hops.
This release is available now online.
Crisp Ginger Beer & Mystic DIPA | Bright Brewery
Bright Brewery has announced two new releases.
Crisp (4% abv) is an alcoholic ginger beer brewed with organic ginger and Enigma hops.
Mystic (9% abv) is a double dry hopped, double IPA and was brewed with Citra, Amarillo, and Mosaic hops.

Zeus Cryo | Helios Brewing
Helios Brewing has released Zeus Cryo (9% abv) in cans. This release is a Cryo hopped DIPA brewed with Amarillo, Cascade and Simcoe hops and is available online now.
Jetty Road Fairy Dust | Jetty Road Brewery
Jetty Road Brewery has announced its latest release.
Jetty Road Fairy Dust (5% abv) is a no hop pale ale made with Salvo and Incognito hop extracts.

You’re Not Wrong | Bodriggy Brewing Co. x Co-Conspirators Brewing Co.
Bodriggy Brewing Co. and Co-Conspirators Brewing Co. have collaborated on a new IPA.
You’re Not Wrong (7% abv) is a cold IPA made with Wakatu, Rakau and Nelson Sauvin hops which brings flavours of melon, fig and resin.

Idaho – West Coast IPA | Slipstream Brewing Co.
Slipstream Brewing Co. has released the next instalment of its West Coast Tour series with the launch of Idaho – West Coast IPA (6.6% abv).
Idaho was brewed with Idaho 7, Simcoe and Chinook hops and is available online now.

Sidewinder XPA | Brick Lane Brewing Co.
The latest beer in the Sidewinder range is a 0.5% XPA with notes of pineapple, peach and citrus.

Frontier Fields Hazy IPA | White Bay Beer
White Bay Beer’s latest release is a hazy IPA featuring Lemon Drop, Mosaic and Strata Hops.
Frontier Fields (6.8% abv) is available online now.
Rare Breed: Barrel-Aged Cherry Sour | Mountain Goat Beer
Mountain Goat’s final Rare Breed release of 2021 is a Barrel-Aged Cherry Sour (6.0% abv). With Wandin Valley dark cherries aged in French-oak Pinot barrels from the Adelaide Hills, this release is available now.
Mango Bright Sour | Bright Brewery
Bright Brewery has released Mango Bright Sour (4.3% abv), a kettle-soured beer that has “a fresh mango aroma bolstered by tropical dry hops.”

Summer Smash: Guava & Passionfruit Sour | Sea Legs Brewing Co.
Sea Legs is celebrating the beginning of Summer with its new Summer Smash Sour Series –the first of which is a Guava & Passionfruit Sour (4.9% abv). The brew is a wheat-based kettle sour with late ferment fruit additions of guava and passionfruit, and is available now.
Old Dog New Trick | Hop Nation Brewing Co.
Hop Nation, in collaboration with Blackhearts & Sparrows, has brewed a Hazy Pale Ale (4.2% abv). With HBC 630 hops giving the beer aromas of peach and berries, Old Dog New Trick is available now from Blackhearts & Sparrows stores and the Hop Nation taproom.
Pegasus Tropical Pale Ale | Helios Brewing
Helios Brewing has released Pegasus (4% abv), a tropical pale ale made with Zamba hops.

Multiple releases | Precinct Brewing
Precinct Brewing has a number of new releases, the first of which being Strong Pale Ale –Bine Birthday Beer (5.6% abv). Brewed in celebration of craft beer bar Bine’s 8th birthday, the beer features Amarillo and Sabro hops which, according to brewer’s notes, gives it dry citrus, tropical fruit and creamy coconut flavours.
The brewery’s second new release is The Bam Bam Strawberry Tart fruited sour (3.6% abv). Another collaborative brew, this time with Bam Bam Bakehouse, the sour ale is inspired by the bakehouse’s popular strawberry tart.
Once Around the Sun (6.8% abv) is a limited release hazy IPA brewed in celebration of the brewery’s first birthday. Featuring Ekuanot, Trident and Cryo Mosaic hops, the brewer’s notes describe the beer as having passionfruit, guava and mango characters.
Out of Your Mind Mango Passion Sour | Hudson Brewing
Hudson Brewing’s first birthday beer is a special edition mango and passionfruit sour.
Out of Your Mind (3.5% abv) is available now.
Tiki Time Hazy IPA | Capital Brewing Co.
Tiki Time (7.4% abv) is Capital Brewing Co.’s latest special release. A hazy IPA with Sabro, Wakatu, Cashmere and Motueka hops, Tiki Time is available now from selected stockists.
Multiple releases | Mountain Culture Beer Co.
Mountain Culture Beer Co. has a selection of new beers out now, the first of which is the Cold Comfort Cold Pale Ale (5.4% abv) –a sessionable alternative to a West Coast IPA.
The second new release is a 6.5% abv Oat Cream IPA, brewed in collaboration with Warners at the Bay. Business Time features Riwaka and Sabro hops.
Faint Hearted DDH IPA (6.8% abv) is the final new release this week. The brew features a dry house yeast strain, adding to the tasting notes of grapefruit, citrus and mango.
XPA 88 | 4 Hearts Brewing Company
The latest edition to 4 Hearts Brewing’s core range is a 4.8% abv sessionable XPA.
XPA 88 is available on tap and in cans at the 4 Hearts cellar door or from local stockists.
Multiple releases | Revel Brewing Co.
In celebration of its fourth birthday, Revel Brewing Co. has released four birthday beers:
- Phoenix IPA (6.5% abv) –celebrating rising from the ashes of the last few years.
- New Zealand Pilsner (5.0% abv) –a collaboration with Black Hops Brewing, the NZ Pilsner has flavours of “mojito lime, spicy orange and citrus”.
- Nemesis Cold IPA (7.8% abv) –brewed in collaboration with Rockstar Brewing.
- Peach Iced Tea Sour Ale (5.0% abv) –a brew of fresh peaches and brewery-steeped tea, brewed in collaboration with Currumbin Valley Brewing.
All four beers are available now from the Revel online store.
Rogue TrIIIPA Triple Hazy IPA | Dainton Beer
Dainton Beer’s limited release Rogue TrIIIPA (10.0% abv) is back for a limited time.

NEeD IPA – Vol. 7 | Bridge Road Brewers
Bridge Road has released the latest instalment in its bi-monthly IPA series.
Vol. 7 is a 6.5% abv Cryo Hazy featuring CRYO-Ekuanot, CRYO-Idaho 7 and CRYO-Simcoe, and is available online now.
Gin & Tonic | Young Henrys
Young Henrys has announced the release of Gin & Tonic, featuring the brewery’s Noble Cut Australian Gin with hints of pink grapefruit and lime.
Gin & Tonic (5.0% abv) will be available in a tinnie both online and from local bottleshops.
Barrel Project II RUBUS Wild Ale | Colonial Brewing Co.
Following the popularity of its GABS Festival exclusive Bramble Wild Ale, CBCO is releasing the second addition to its Barrel Project series, the Barrel Project II RUBUS Wild Ale (6.0% abv).
Referencing the scientific name for all bramble fruits –’Rubus’ –the Wild Ale features 300g/L of raspberries and blackberries as well as a mix of bacteria and wild yeasts aged in Chardonnay barrels for 30 months.
RUBUS Wild Ale is available now, online and from independent bottleshops.
Echo Chamber | Hawkers Beer
A continuation of Hawkers’ Feedback Loop Imperial Stout Whisky, Echo Chamber (11.9% abv) is a Barrel Aged Imperial Stout aged in Feedback Loop barrels.
Sunsetter | Brick Lane Brewing
Brick Lane Brewing has released an alcoholic ginger beer called Sunsetter (4.6% abv). Released in time for summer, this beer was brewed with ginger sourced from Lady Musgrave Island on the Great Barrier Reef.

Passionista | Wayward Brewing Co.
Wayward Brewing Co. has announced the return of Passionista (3.8% abv).
Using the same sour ale base as its core range Raspberry Berliner Weisse, this beer has flavours of passionfruit and yuzu.

Urban Myth | Urban Alley Brewery
Urban Alley Brewery has released a no alcohol pale ale called Urban Myth (<0.5% abv). Using a mixture of Australian and American hops, the beer has notes of apricot and an aroma of lemon zest, according to the brewer.

Coaster Beer | South East Brewing Co.
Coaster Beer (4.2% abv), an easy-drinking bright ale, has been launched by South East Brewing Co.
According to the brewery, the beer came about in response to demand for lower-alcohol, sessionable and easy-drinking beers.
Coaster Beer is available via local stockists.
Ovation and Pampelle Sour | Easy Times Brewing Co.
Easy Times Brewing Co. has two new releases out this week, the first being a collaboration with Cryer Malt and Yakima Chief Hops, brewed for the 2021 Indies.
Ovation is a 5.9% abv hazy strong pale featuring Queensland’s Border pale malt, Idaho 7 and Talus hops.
The brewery’s second release is Pampelle Sour (3.7% abv), featuring Pampelle Star Ruby Red Grapefruit from Corsica.

The Fresh Quince of Bel-Air | Moon Dog Craft Brewery
Moon Dog’s latest release, The Fresh Quince of Bel-Air (6.0% abv), features 500kg of quince paste and a yeast strain found growing in a Philadelphia graveyard.

Summer Slice | Akasha Brewing Co.
Akasha Brewing Co. has released its latest Akasha Project beer. Summer Slice (6% abv) is dry-hopped with Eclipse and has flavours of citrus and watermelon.
