The launch of a Garage Project beer on selected Singapore Airlines flights will act as a trial for routes to and from Australia, the company says.

Singapore Airlines recently announced that Garage Project Hapi Daze Pacific Pale Ale was now available on flights to and from the brewer’s homeland of New Zealand.

“We will use the inclusion… as a trial to determine if a similar craft beer offering can be added to our in-flight service offering from Australia,” a spokesman told Brews News.

“We know there is growing popularity and interest in craft beer from non-traditional markets such as North and South East Asia, which was one of the driving factors behind including the Pacific Pale Ale as part of our in-flight service offering in New Zealand.”
