Alice Springs Brewing Co is excited to announce the long-awaited release of its “Knife Beer” series comprising of the That’s Not a Knife IPA & The This is a Knife IIPA. A couple of years in the making & after being teased as an April Fool’s day prank in 2022, the wait is finally over for this small run limited release.

Alice Springs Brewing Co Instigator Kyle Pearson said: “Here at Alice Springs Brewing Co we hate cliché’s, generalisms and stereotypes about the Northern Territory – unless we are shamelessly marketing them… Mick Dundee was my hero as a kid and I genuinely idolised him – until I moved to the NT and realised this is no place for leather pants.”

Alice Springs Brewing Co CBO (Chief Brewing Office) Jum Ryan said: “We love our West Coast IPA’s here at ASBC – but how to make one with an Australian edge? (Mind the pun…). Simple. The all-Australian hop charge (Galaxy x Vic Secret x Enigma) impart a medley of tropical aromas reminiscent of the NT’s top end, not to mention a bitterness that cut’s through like a…knife? But don’t get ahead of yourself now, That’s Not A Knife. 6.5% ABV 65 IBU 18 EBC

How would you beat that? Well, we took all the same ingredients and made a Double IPA that’s bigger, badder, bolder, bitter-er, better-er…you get the picture. As always, with the characteristic ASBC attention to balance, this beer is surprisingly drinkable so please – consume with caution.
