Commercial Drinks Show gets underway

Commercial Drinks comes to Sydney Sept 11-14

Starting today in Sydney, the Commercial Drinks Show features a strong line-up of brewing industry exhibitors and beer-related education sessions.

Over 3000 on-premise liquor buyers are expected to visit Commercial Drinks between September 11 and 14, to browse premium beer, spirits and wine brands from nearly 60 exhibitors.

Beer exhibitors include 4 Pines Beer, Modus Operandi Brewing, Hawke’s Brewing Co, Moo Brew, Grand Ridge Brewery, Barrow Boys Brewing Co, James Squire, and more.

Free educational sessions in the Winterhalter Speakeasy Stage will address industry topics including what it takes to operate a successful bar, what good bar design can do for your business; cocktails that drive revenue; staff training & retention, and maximising the wine spend of your patrons.

Beer-related educational sessions include Beer and Food Matching with Kirrily Waldhorn AKA The Beer Diva and Ed Sargent of 4 Pines Brewery, as well as Getting the Best Out of Your Beer, with Grant Wearin of Modus Operandi, Dave MacGill of Moo Brew and Brews News’ James Atkinson.

Taking place over four days at the newly built ICC in Sydney, the show is co-located with Fine Food Australia, the country’s leading event for the food industry.

All of the Winterhalter Speakeasy Stage sessions have been planned with the objective of providing practical advice, from curating the perfect beer menu to learning the best business models for bars. The full seminar program is available online at commericaldrinks.com.au
