Tropical Sour | Bridge Road Brewers

Bridge Road‘s latest sour (4.1% abv) balances “tropical fruit notes and crisp acidity” and is available now from the Bridge Road online store.


Fresh as a Daisy | Hop Nation

Hop Nation Brewing Co. has released a new XPA.

Fresh as a Daisy (<0.5% abv) is dry hopped with Simcoe, Vic Secret and Galaxy hops to create flavours of citrus and tropical fruit.

This release is available to order now through Hop Nation’s online store.


Black Lung XI | Moon Dog

Moon Dog Craft Brewery has announced the 11th iteration of its peated stout.

Only available as a limited release, Black Lung XI (12% abv) is a Tennessee whiskey barrel-aged stout.

This release is available to pre-order now through Moon Dog’s online store, with orders shipping from Wednesday 29th September.


Gin Fizz Sour | Bad Shepherd Brewing Co.

Bad Shepherd Brewing Co. has released the first beer in its Summer Sour Series.

In collaboration with That Spirited Lot Distillers, Gin Fizz Sour (4.5% abv) is brewed with grapefruit and lemon in combination with lactose.

This release is available to order through Bad Shepherd’s online store.


Surf Wax Sour | Shelter Brewing Co. x Hillzeez

Shelter Brewing Co. has collaborated with Hillzeez Down South Surf Shop on a new limited release.

Surf Wax Sour (5.2% abv) is a modern take on a classical Gose style and has notes of pineapple and coconut. Read the full media release here.


Bod Light | Bodriggy Brewing Co.

Bodriggy Brewing Co. has released a new low carb beer.

Bod Light (3.9% abv) is brewed in the style of an American lager and was filtered through to make it clear.

The Nelsons | Hawkers Beer

In collaboration with Bintani Australia, Hawkers Beer has created two new releases.

Full Nelson (7.5% abv) is an IPA that has been single-hopped with Nelson Sauvin.

Distilled by Alchemy Distillers, Ginny Nelson (40% abv) is also hopped with Nelson Sauvin to echo its IPA counterpart, according to the brewers.

Both of these releases are available to order through Hawkers’ online store.


Chubby Ape | White Bay Beer Co.

White Bay Beer Co. has announced a new release.

Inspired by the Chunky Monkey ice cream, Chubby Ape (9% abv) is an imperial stout brewed with Queensland bananas and Tasmanian walnuts.

This release is available to order now through White Bay Beer Co’s online store.


Lost In The Fog 2.0 – Tropical Hazy IPA | Modus Operandi Brewing

Modus Operandi Brewing is set to launch its Summer seasonal release.

Building from its first iteration, Lost in the Fog 2.0 (5.8% abv) is a triple dry hopped hazy IPA and will be released in time for Summer 21/22.

This seasonal release is available to pre-order now through emailing sales representatives.


Lick Pier Tropical Ginger Beer | East 9th Brewing Co

Lick Pier Tropical Ginger Beer (3% abv) is the latest flavour from East 9th Brewing Co.

First Dip (6.96% abv) is a dip hopped IPA brewed with Strata, Mosaic Cryo, Citra Cryo and Galaxy hops.

Moon Dog Craft Brewery has released its latest sour ale.

Piney Minogue (4.5% abv) is a pineapple sour ale brewed with 4 tonnes of pineapple, according to the brewer.

Classic Series Oaked ESB & Zephyrus Session Red IPA | Helios Brewing Co.

Helios Brewing Co. has announced two new releases.

Classic Series Oaked (5.6% abv) is brewed in the style of an ESB and has flavours of citrus, according to the brewer.

Zephyrus Session (4.5% abv) is a red IPA with notes of pine, mango and citrus, according to the brewer.

Both of these releases are available in order now through local stockists with the Classic Series Oaked limited to 40 cases.


Hauptbahnhof | Good Land Brewing Co.

Good Land Brewing Co. has released a German lager.

Created as an ode to Oktoberfest in Munich, Hauptbahnhof (5.6% abv) is an amber German lager with a clean hop bitterness, according to the brewer.

This new release is available in the Taproom and through Good Land Brewing Co’s online store.


Beyond the Black River | Kaiju Beer

Kaiju Beer has released a new beer as part of its Mutation Program.

Beyond the Black River (11% abv) is a barrel-aged stout with aromas of molasses and vanilla along rum overtones, according to the brewer.

This release is available to order through local stockists.


Betamax & Zero Mississippi | Mountain Culture Beer Co.

Mountain Culture Beer Co. has announced two new releases.

Betamax (7.5% abv) is an oat cream IPA brewed with Yakima Chief Hops’ Cryo Pop and has flavours of stone fruit and citrus, according to the brewer.

Zero Mississippi (10.8% abv) is a triple west coast style IPA and has flavours of citrus along with a balanced bitterness, according to the brewer.

D5 | Dainton Beer

Dainton Beer has released a new beer to celebrate its fifth anniversary.

D5 (8.5% abv) is a NEIPA brewed with Galaxy, Citra, Mosaic, Sabro and El Dorado hops.

This release is only available for a limited time through local stockists.


California – West Coast Tour IPA | Slipstream Brewing Co.

Slipstream Brewing Co. has launched a new West Coast Tour IPA series. The first release in the series, California (6.6% abv), is brewed with Chinook, Simcoe, Citra hops.

Hop Swap | Black Hops Brewing

Black Hops Brewing has collaborated with Behemoth Brewing in New Zealand on its September limited release.

Hop Swap (7% abv) is an IPA brewed with an experimental hop called NZ107, from Behemoth Brewing and has flavours of tropical fruit and citrus, according to the brewer.

This limited release is available to order through Black Hops’ online store, in the taproom and through various stockists in the coming weeks.

Raspberry Sour | Bridge Road Brewers

Bridge Road Brewers has released its latest Spring release.

Raspberry Sour (4.3% abv) is a traditional German gose with flavours of raspberry and passionfruit.

Static Flow | White Bay Beer Co.

White Bay Beer Co. has released its latest limited release.

Static Flow (6.6% abv) is an IPA brewed with Idaho 7, Mosaic, Mosaic Incognito and Galaxy hops and has flavours of tropical fruits, mixed punnet berries, champagne mango and pineapple.

This limited release is available to order through White Bay Beer Co’s online store.


Double West Coast IPA | Hawkers Beer

Hawkers has announced the return of its limited release Double West Coast IPA (9.0% abv).

Featuring Southern Cross, Simcoe, Mosaic and Northern Brewer hops, the brew has aromas of “citrus, pine, resin, floral and fruit” according to brewer’s notes.


Blueberry Pancakes Sour Ale | Lost Palms Brewing Co.

After an earlier release, Lost Palms’ Blueberry Pancakes Sour Ale (7.0% abv) is making a return –this time in cans.

The sour will debut at the Crafted Festival and will also be available at the Lost Palms taproom and for a limited time in wholesale venues and bottleshops.


Cloudburst | Otherside Brewing Co.

Otherside Brewing Co. has a new addition to its core range –the Cloudburst hazy IPA (5.8% abv).

The new release is sold out online and at the brewhouse but is still available at selected retailers.


The Eagle | Akasha Brewing

Akasha Brewing has re-released a limited brew.

First released last year, the Eagle (12% abv) is a quadruple IPA with tropical fruit and citrus flavours.

This is available now in Akasha Brewing’s online store, in the taproom (takeaway only) and at through local stockists.


GFB Draught | TWØBAYS Brewing Co.

TWØBAYS has launched a new gluten-free beer brand, with the first beer in its range being a full-strength Draught (4.2% abv).

September 3rd


Taproom Series | Wayward Brewing Co.

Wayward Brewing Co. has released its Taproom series containing four collaborations with other Australian breweries.

Each case contains 3 x 375ml cans of the following styles:

  • VPC Oatmeal Stout (6.6% abv) was made in collaboration with Sealegs Brewing Co and was brewed with part of Canadian malts.
  • Belgian Bushman (8% abv) is a pepperberry and lemon myrtle ale and was made in collaboration with Hobart Brewing Co.
  • Feijoa Grisette (3.4% abv) is a farmhouse ale made in collaboration with Van Dieman Brewing.
  • Wayward Pony (6.7% abv) is a milkshake IPA made in collaboration with Prancing Pony Brewery.

The Taproom series can be bought through Wayward Brewing’s online store with only 100 cases available to sell.


Further Afield | White Bay Beer Co.

White Bay Beer Co. has released its newest pale ale.

Further Afield (5.3% abv) is a hazy pale ale brewed with American, Cyro, Nelson Sauvin and Riwaka hops.

This is available to order now through White Bay Beer Co’s online store.


Eazy Hazy | Balter Brewing Co.

Balter Brewing Co. has announced a new addition to its core range.

Eazy Hazy (4% abv) was first released in March as part of Balter’s Hazy series. Using American hops, the beer has flavours of passionfruit and coconut.

This beer will be available to order through local stockists starting from Monday 6th September.


On What Grounds | Local Brewing Co.

Local Brewing Co. has released a collaborative beer with Veneziano Coffee Roasters.

On What Grounds (6.1% abv) is a coffee porter beer brewed with 20kg of Veneziano’s ‘Crave’ Blend.

This beer will be sold in packs of four 440ml cans online, as well as in bottle shops and on tap at select venues across Melbourne.


Fixie | BentSpoke Brewing Co.

BentSpoke Brewing has announced the re-release of its ginger beer.

Fixie (3.5% abv) is an alcoholic ginger beer brewed with Cashmere hops, and ginger from Buderim, Queensland.

The Fixie ginger beer will be on tap and released in 4-packs and 24-packs Australia wide from Friday 3rd September.


Passionfruit Brewed Alcoholic Seltzer | FELLR

FELLR has released its fourth alcoholic seltzer flavour.

The new Passionfruit (4% abv) flavour has hints of citrus and under two grams of carbohydrates.

This flavour is now available in BWS, Dan Murphy’s and select independent stores around Sydney with a nationwide rollout happening over the next month.
